A Rainy Midsummer Night’s Dream

Last night a talented cast performed under an ominous cloudy sky at the preview of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. This year marks the celebration of  15 years of Classics at Brucemore .

The audience enjoyed this Shakespearean comedy, chuckling throughout the evening as they broke out their picnic baskets and relaxed in lawn chairs or on blankets. The performers never missed a line and kept the audience busy trying to keep track of which entrance or exit the cast would appear next. Halfway through the second half, the rain teased the crowd for a brief time before the downpour began and people scattered for cover.

Performances will be held July 8-10 and 15-17.  Gates open at 7 pm and performances begin at 8 pm.
